Our combined efforts with Dr Peter von Dadelszen for helping women with pre-eclampsia is awarded an additional $17 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The project has expanded to conduct large clinical trials in four countries (Nigeria, Mozambique, Pakistan, India), and our team will be involved in development of the mobile device technology. Congratulations everyone!

Society of Technology in Anesthesia

The team was very successful at this year’s Society for Technology (STA) annual conference held in Palm Beach, Florida. Congratulations to Srinivas Raman, Chris Brouse, Walter Karlen, Mark Ansermino, Guy Dumont for winning the 1st prize in the Computers in Anesthesia Engineering Competition for their work entitled A Data Fusion Approach for RR Estimation from PPG.
